COMMUNITY

Wigan born & bred, we’re very much part of the community

We’ve been established in Wigan for over 50 years, and we’re proud of where we’re from. Being involved in the community is something close to our hearts and we always give back when we can.

Wigan & Leigh Hospice

Wigan & Leigh Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care to hundreds of people every year. We have sponsored the Hospice Warriors Colour Run in 2014 and the hospice’s first Strictly event in 2016. Bithells are proud to support such a wonderful charity.

Wigan Under 16s

If there’s one sport that we enjoy watching, it’s rugby league, whether that be one of the local amateur clubs or our local super league giants, Wigan Warriors. Bithells are proud sponsors of the grass roots rugby, Wigan Warriors Under 16s.

Our Top Skip Tips

Wigan Youth Zone

Wigan Youth Zone is a purpose built, state-of-the-art youth facility in Wigan town centre. It offers young people from across Wigan the opportunity to meet friends, have new experiences, learn new skills and access the support they need to develop and achieve their potential. Bithells are to be a patron and enjoy being involved in such a great community-driven organisation.

Wigan Pride

Having sponsored the Wigan Pride event for the last number of years, it’s an event that we look forward to, and its popularity continues to grow.

Not only is it a great opportunity to celebrate diversity with the LGBT community, it is always a fun event for all the family to enjoy.

We’d Love To Hear From You…

Bithells are proud to support the Joining Jack charity.
